North Korea under Kim Jong-un is unlike anywhere else… and this might be one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. Just outside Pyongyang, I was taken to a greenhouse where they claim propaganda music helps plants grow. Loudspeakers blast DPRK songs across the crops — and workers truly believe it works. But this experience revealed much more than just music for plants… In North Korea, movement is strictly controlled. Citizens can’t freely travel between regions — even entering or leaving Pyongyang requires special permission. As a foreigner, access is extremely limited, and what you’re shown is only part of the story. While filming inside, I also noticed workers operating under tough conditions — all while propaganda music echoed through the greenhouse. Is this science… or something else entirely? This is one of the most surreal moments from my time inside North Korea. 🎥 Episode 4 from my North Korea series. 🇰🇵 👇 Let me hear what you think! Can music really mske plants grow faster !??
